half-dragon

Darkness and warmth surround him.  They are what he knows in this little world.  Little and getting littler. Or was it smaller.  Since he remembered there had been her.  He know it was a her.  She was always on the edge of his world.   But know his eyes begin to close and he sleeps. Sunlight floods in through an open window. The figure of a seventeen year old boy lay curled up in a disheveled bed.  His sweat covered face squints as the light strikes his eyes.   His hands clutch the sheets as he opens his eyes. Fumbling with uncertain hands at the sheets as if he wasn't sure quite how to use them.
